Q: I have no picture or sound after installation.
A: After software installation, the computer must be restarted.
Q: After restarting there is still no picture or sound.
A: Since a certain Windows 10 update, it's necessary to change privacy settings in Windows to allow these video grabbers to work. Specifically, this setting must be checked: Start - Settings - Privacy - Camera - Allow apps to access your camera: ON
Q: I have intermittent color/black and white images
A: This occurs with connected VCRs where both the RCA connectors and the S-video cable are connected. Remove the S-video cable between the connections, and the image should remain in color.

A: If you look under manuals on our website, you will find a very comprehensive manual that you can download
Q: My Windows 10 or 11 doesn't work with the included software on the CD, or I don't have a CD/DVD player on my computer.
A: The CD is for Windows 7 only. No drivers are required for Windows 10 and 11 (plug and play). You can then use OBS Studio, for example, to transfer the videos (see the extensive manual under "Manuals" on our website).
